“Do whatever comes your way to do as well as you can. Think as little as possible about yourself. Think as much as possible about other people. Dwell on things that are interesting. Since you get more joy out of giving joy to others, you should put a good deal of thought into the happiness that you are able to give.”
― Eleanor Roosevelt
“Get a hand full of sweets”, the owner of the shop said to the boy.The boy just stood there looking up at his father for approval. The owner repeated himself: “Son get a hand full of sweets… it’s free.” Again the boy did not move and continued to look up in the face of his father for approval.
At last, his father reached into the candy jar and got a hand full of sweets and gave it to his son.
As they walked back home, the father stopped and asked his son why he hesitated to grab a hand full of free candy. With a big smile on the face of the boy, he looked into his father’s face and said: “Because I know that your HAND is BIGGER than mine.”
So, whatever your needs and worries are for this week, month year and beyond, look into the face of THE ALMIGHTY GOD because HIS HANDs are BIGGER THAN OURS.
Always remember the lesson of this story, whatever comes your way in the journey of life, look into the face of THE ALMIGHTY GOD because HIS HANDs are BIGGER THAN OURS.
